I DON'T BELIEVE IN BRANDING

I Don’t Believe In Branding – Nhyira Betty Pronounces
According to the gospel artiste Nhyira Betty whose song s for the past years have been household song, told your reliable Flex newspaper that, she rather believes in the direction of the Holy Spirit and not what we term as “branding.”
Betty explained that, branding to her only leads the Ghanaian artiste especially the gospel musicians astray. ”Many are the gospel musicians who have stooped low in the calling of the Holy Spirit all in the name of branding themselves. And in the name of branding, they begin to put on some dresses that go against their beliefs and many at times end up going on stage to forget their real calling as gospel musicians, hence performing to entertain the audience and failing to touch the audience with the power of the Holy Ghost. If we have any branding to offer to ourselves, we should rather give chance to the Holy Spirit for His direction” Nhyira Betty said.
Betty whose mum Cynthia Frimpong happens to be a prophetess of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Nima branch has two albums to her credit. Her maiden ”Yebe Dwiri” produced  by Sly and the debut “Sumsum mu boafo” also produced by Magus under the Holy Ghost International label from the stables of ace gospel legend Osuani Afrifa was recorded by Dan Bassey.
When Flex newspaper asked Betty to give her last message to Ghanaians as we prepare to go into the December polls, she has this to say “I entreat all Ghanaians to emulate the true character and spirit of the Good old late President of the Republic of Ghana Prof. John Evans Atta Mills. A man full of honesty, love, kind and peace. “ Ghanaians should put politics behind them and try to pick something from this great leader of land, a man who has all the power in his hands just to pay his enemies back, but  kept on with his faith as Christian, refuse to respond to people who insulted, castigated and vilified him in a humble manner.
He gave his best to this country and the most of all, never hid his faith as a Christian as he went around proclaiming and projecting Jesus Christ on every platform he mounted. This is a man wealthy of emulation. I believe that, emulating him will definitely see us through this election peacefully because he stood for peace and wished peace for this country.
Betty is managed by Collins Agyenim Boateng popularly known as DJ Coxby of Light 94.9 FM in Kumasi. He also happens to be Betty’s husband. Betty is preparing to release her third album come December. Flex newspaper will update you as she finishes that spirit filled album which will be the talk of town. Betty usually sings about the goodness of God in all ways.
